What is this iPhone/iPod touch app about?

If you use Plurk, have an iPhone/iPod touch and want to use a native Plurk app on your device, Plurk on the iPhone is for you.

What features does the Plurk on the iPhone app have?

Version 1.0 (submitted to the App Store on September 9, 2008) has the following features:

  • Timeline
    • Retrieve plurks as far as it will go, like in Mail
    • A badge on the Timeline tab item to indicate the number of unread plurks
  • Read plurks
    • rich text view
  • Profile, friends and cliques
    • view your profile details
    • view friend details
    • view clique members
  • Add and respond to plurks
    • private plurks to friends and/or cliques
    • edit your plurks
    • delete your plurks
    • mute plurks

What this application isn't ...

This may be a handy mobile application but it isn't a replacement for the regular Plurk site. You won't be able to do certain things on the iPhone/iPod touch application that you would on the regular Plurk site.

This is a Plurk application for the iPhone/iPod touch. It isn't a Twitter/Pounce/etc. client.

How much is this app?

It is available from the iTunes App Store for a very low cost to you at $0.00.
